Circle of friends for Mental Health was just informed that we were one of the non-profit organizations who applied for funding and was awarded an Arts Sustained Support award in the amount of $2,100 per year for 2017 and 2018 by 4Culture Foundation.
4Culture, the cultural services agency for King County, Washington is committed to making our region stronger by supporting citizens and groups who preserve our shared heritage, and create arts and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors.
This year, more organizations than ever before applied for funding through the Arts Sustained Support program. For the 2015-16 cycle, 303 organizations applied; this time around 359 organizations applied. The adjudication panels, charged with distributing limited funding over an ever-increasing field, evaluated organizations based on criteria specific to the program.
This is a huge honor for Circle of friends for Mental Health, we are so proud of our team and eternally grateful to 4Culture.
